WOMAN: well. The first thing to remember is that there are a lot if things you won’t remember. … I’m going to give you a lot of advice and ithink it is going to be difficult for your brain to take all of it into account. No-that’s not to say that I don think your brain is capable of handeling things. I mean. You’re fourteen and your smarter than I was at 20! You’re savvy with technology and youre as sharp as a tack… Or a whip… Is that the expression?
Anyways… When a man and a woman love each other very much-no-that’s incredibly politically in-c. Or not. pC.
When two people love each other very much. Yeah. Although there are some types of sexual attraction that include plants… Or animals… Or people who are no longer living… Or I guess plants or animals that are no longer living… I’m not sure what you would call that. Necro-bestiality? And I don’t know why I would say when two people live each other very much-take your father and I for instance.
No. I’m getting ahead of myself.
How about this… You know that dream you had about the Jonas Brothers. Well…

Okay. Let’s start over.
There are many different people in the world and everyone has a soulmate.
What? Well… If there are an odd numbe of people in the world that extra person will be lonely. I’m not sure.
I think that… Okay. I’ll tell you a personal story.
When I was twelve there was a person I loved very much. He was a radio host. And I lived him very much. Everytime I heard him on the radio my heart jumped and I used to think each song was part of a colossal mix tape for me.

You name it, each song I read into as if it was written for me.
And one night he said this song goes out to emily. From yours truly.
And I thought he said Annie. Which was closer to my real name, which is Amy. As you know. But you call me Mom.
I think what I’m trying to say is when you love someone all of that music those songs they feel like they were made for you… But they weren’t necessarily so be careful…

Does all of that make sense?
